Outgrown Stroller!

What about using a wagon? If you are going on walks in your neighborhood, a wagon is a great item for multiple uses... the kids enjoy the wagon, also. Just be sure to get one where the front wheels turn easily.... the OLD one we have has the front wheels on a pivot with the handle, so when I turn the handle, they turn also. The big plastic one from Little Tikes the wheels turn independently, and the handle is not on a swivel, so it really is a pain to turn easily. Try a couple out if you can.

The double Bob stroller has a weight limit of 100 lbs. Very pricey though. See if you can find a used one. They are super light, comparatively.

I have 3 year old twins and while my kids still fit in the strollers that I have (getting a bit snug, but they still fit!) I was also having a problem of pushing them because they were getting so heavy. It made me not want to take those nice walks because I'd end up getting so winded so early on! Anyways, I didn' want to purchase a new double stroller because 1.) they are expensive! and 2.) I wonder how much longer my kids will require a stroller? (as it is we tend to use them less and less now - but I still occasionally need it!) I went to craigslist and bought a used one to help with cost. I also purposly bought a jogging stroller. NOT because I was going to run/jog with it, but because they are SOOOOO easy to push!! They also hold a lot of weight (not sure exactly how much) but let me tell you it is a breeeeeze to push/steae my 2 three year old in this stroller! And they love it too :) Best wishes!!

I second the wagon suggestion. There are lots of different types and styles that could fit your needs and handle your children. They have canopies that can go over the tops of some models, others have little seats that face each way. My kids (3.5 and 1.5 years) LOVE wagons.

The BOB has super high weight limits and they are awesome in all types f weather and terrains.
