I agree with TF, we keep our cushions inside when we are not using them. It not only helps them stay clean but also helps them to not fade as quickly therefore we don't have to replace or reupholster them as often. I also like that they don't get wet because no one likes to sit on a wet cushion!

Are the cushions removable?

We do not leave our cushions out in the weather. We keep them in a closet and put them out when we use the outdoor area. It all stays cleaner that way for me.

It would help to know if they are fabric or vinyl. If fabric I would use the upholstery attachment on my carpet scrubber to clean them. My cousin told me about some stuff called Camp Spray. I had never heard of it but campers use it to waterproof and protect outdoor furniture.

Car wash.

We wash the car seats at the car wash too. Rugs, carpet, fabric, vinyl, anything that goes outside is washable.

We keep our outdoor cushions covered in large plastic garbage bags when not in use. We keep a large fitted sheet over our glass patio table to keep it clean, but it still needs dusting before use.

If they are made of a synthetic fabric designed for outdoor use that is tightly woven with a firm impervious feel I suggest that you can wash them with soap and water using a rag or sponge. Use a soft bristled brush for seams and stains.
