Hello-
I am a mom who takes LOTS of pictures and places them in albums . I also make photo books as often as I can.
Just wondering where and how do you photo crazed mamas store them ? I have about 35 books right now and looking for creative ways to display them or store them for my daughter in years to come. There will be several more to come as she is only 4!

She also makes several art projects at home and school and we have a wall of art..also running out of space now!
Where and how do you store art work from your kids?

Thanks Mamas

What can I do next?

My dtr is also 4 so I'm not sure how my plan will work over the years but we display about 3-4 of her current favorite pieces of artwork. For the others I bought an "under bed" storage box that is long and flatter and she puts all of her school work in there. I plan on labeling each box with the year/grade as we move through school with each child. I don't scrapbook though so can't help you with that.....we store digital photos by month on the computer.

a friend takes pictures of the art work and made a photobook. I have used the frames where you can rotate what is displayed (i think they re called Davinci)

I used a magazine holder(the thick big one) to put my kids baby albums in and it held 3-4 really nice and they won't get bent or in the way. I store them in a cabinet. I bought a long tote to store all art projects in. I hang ones to go with the season on a cork board and throw the non important ones away. I was about to buy a huge cork board to put more pics up but thought i better find a good place too. This thing was huge!

For the photos, upload them to shutterfly, target, CVS, Walmart of some other place. Put them on CD or make picture movies.

For the art, select the best ones, label them, put in a frame and hang them on the wall in a cascading manner or by age. Other option is to get a photo book, scrap book, or binder with plastic inserts/tabs and put them there.

PS: You can also take a picture of the art work so you have the memory and get rid of the actual paper/art work so that you do not take up space.
