i researched this because i had a tubal myself. the odds are slim, but it depends on what type of tubal you had and how long ago you had it. if you are just a few days late, then it's likely nothing but stress. (hey, i'm one of 5 kids. i know we brought stress on Mom! LOL) if you are truly worried, then pee on a stick.

Although the odds are slim it they don't matter if you are the 1 in so many. So pee on a stick if you are pregnant the likelyhood that it is etopic is great so you would need to know ASAP.

There is a 1 in 400 chance of getting pregnant after a tubal ligation. Usually, these type of pregnancies are tubal pregnancies or extra-uterine (outside the uterus) and can be a medical emergency if you are feeling sick. A pregnancy test needs to be done right away. Another possibility if you are not pregnant is that you are having peri-menopausal symptoms. I hope that everything turns out ok.

You had them burned? Most likely unless God wants you pregnant you aren't having any more... 28 w/ 5 kids, who wouldn't be edgy and moody, of course you are wore out... I did go to school with this lady who had 4 girls, had the tubes tied, 3 years later she's pregnant with a son, I think she had them burned after his birth.

There is a slim chance that you can still conceive after a tubal ligation. You should send your husband in for a vasectomy just as back-up.

If your tubes were cauterized (sp?) they would actually have to grow about a centimeter and then reconnect. That should make you feel better!

I've had a tubal as well and since youve had one you know your body can show all the signs as with a normal pregnancy. I suggest that you get the the doctor and get checked out. If it is a tubal the sooner you get it taken care of the less risk you have of problems.

Chances are highly unlikely...but if you think you might be take a test it can't hurt anything. Get it over with and get the stress over with. Good luck.

The probability is poor. I actually had some signs and symptoms of pregnancy randomly the first couple of years after my tubal.

take a pregnancy test. tubal ligation isn't always 100% so better safe than sorry.

I would definitely get a pregnancy test ASAP! The chances are probably very slim. I did have a friend that hand 4 kids, had her tubes tied and burned and ended up pregnant, but it was a fluke. Relieve your mind and do the test!

I would like a lot of others said take a test. It's possible that you are but the test would let you know for sure. And it they symptoms keep persisting I would go to your Dr. I know I have had some issues since I had may tubes tied.

Before you get too upset. Take a home pregnacy test. Tubals are not the end all of birth control- my doctor told me that 1 out of 200 can get pregnant anyway.

With that said... sometimes hormones can cause these symptoms. I get like this about a week before my cycle starts. And even if you never experienced these symptoms before, as you age, you can. So check it out first, then you will know.

I waited until I was 35 to have my tubes tied and it lasted all of 7 mos! We now have #3, a beautiful baby boy who is the light of all of our lives! Def' get the test! Good Luck to you!

A., well I know of one person that did get pregnant with her tubes tied, it does happen, you need to get that checked. Good Luck!
