My friend Kim owns Mom's Best Friend, which is a licensed sitter/nanny service. You can hire temp/part-time sitters or a full-time nanny! All of the nannies/sitters are thoroughly background/criminally checked, and CPR/1st Aid Certified. She does charge a minimum 4 hours. However, in your case, that might give you the extra time to run a couple of quick errands when you finish an interview without having to juggle with the kids, or do some things around the house while she occupies the kids with something else.
