Does anyone have a great OB they would like to pass on? I had 2 visits with one I found and she wasn't very friendly. She never even acknowledged my husband in the room! I've had 3 miscarriages and have been very anxious about this preganancy. If this is the last time I'm going to be preg, then I want to enjoy my dr. visits. My first delivery was in Walnut Creek at John Muir and by OB was great. I wanted to go to El Camino Hospital but am open to O'Connor and Good Sam. Any good suggestions? I really appreciate it. I have another appt w/ the current one in 2 weeks and don't want to go!

What can I do next?

I would second the rec for Dr. Angela Pollard. She is wonderful! I'm not sure she delivers at Good Sam, though. She delivered both of my daughters (both via c-section) at Los Gatos Community Hospital--an excellent, smaller hospital!!!

H.,

I see Dr. Kristine Borrison at Los Olivos in Los Gatos. She delivers at Good Sam - I had all 3 kids at Good Sam, what a fabulous place! I wish I could get pregnant again - just to go back! I had a wonderful experience and would do it all over again! ###-###-####

Hi,

I had a good experience with the Cedar OBGYN practise.
They went out on a limb for me when I had to change OBs at 30 weeks. Most OBs won't take you this late when you want a VBAC after a prior C-Section, but they did and I did!

Web Site: www.cedarobgyn.medem.com

The practice has 3 midwives as well as the OB. So, only go here if you are OK with midwives (Kavita and Amy are awesome!)

Good Luck!

I LOVE my OB Dr Angela Pollard in Los Gatos right next to Los Gatos Community Hospital. She has 6 kids of her own and is an incredible woman. Kind to my husband and my 3 yr old when I take him with me. I too have had 2 miscarriages and now only 9 weeks pregnant and she is so understanding to me being nervous. Providing me with several ultra sounds to see the heart beat. She also takes the time to explain things.
Good Luck!

Dr Narrisa Kendrick, Women's care for life -

She is a awesome OB and a good friend. I really like going to see her and she takes her time and talks through your history.

I've been with my OB/GYN for almost a year. First it was for a gyn problem, she was so patient and nice. She'd return my phone calls and even sometimes save me a visit by communicating by phone. Now that I'm pregnant, it's great to already know her. I'm totally nervous! First baby and all. But she's proven to be the perfect doctor, she took 30 min at my first visit to tell me all the stuff I can and can't do. I'm very greatful to have found her. Dr. Azad (www.doctorazad.com) . Shes in Mountain View and only delivers at that El Camino Hospital.

I love my OBGYN, Dr. Zena Levine off Samaritan drive.
Look her up on www.zenalevine.com for her phone number and tells you all about her and her staff.
I saw her right after I had my miscarriage and she was so helpful after I became pregnant again, she monitored me carefully.
Congrats on the new baby..
