Nursing Bras and Covers

Where do you all suggest shopping for nursing bras other than online? (I prefer to try things on first).

Also, do you have a nursing cover you like. I want something that is easy to use and provides complete coverage. I'm tired of being stuck at home to feed!

Thanks,
A.

My favorite set up was a nursing tank top with a button down shirt over it. I would unbutton the shirt from the bottom and nurse....usually no cover was even needed since the tank covered my skin and the button down covered the rest. The nursing tanks I bought were at Motherhood Maternity and Kohls (the ones at Kohls were my favorite), but there were two types and the firmer fitting ones were best.

Nursing camisols are great when out - you feel less naked. Nursing bras - got my best fitting ones at my lactation consultant's (in CA, but if they have them here, they can probably tell you where to get good, supportive bras).

The cover I used (till it became a toy for my child) is called a "hooter hider" http://www.bebeaulait.com/ - they carry other things, but the covers are pretty, have a piece at the top that holds it away from your chest so you can see the baby. Very nice, and not too pricy.

I went to Motherhood Maternity. They're at almost every mall. They will measure you and have great prices, and a pretty good selection. I never did get a nursing cover. If I was around other people, I just used a blanket. With the next baby, though, I will get a nursing cover. What also helped was to wear a camisole under my shirt, so when I needed to lift my shirt, I wasn't exposing my belly.

Most big stores do have a selection, one time I was out of town and just stopped at walmart to get one. I never use a nursing cover either, I just put a blanket over my shoulder or went to the bathroom.
Good luck,

I bought my nursing bras at the boutique in the hospital where I delivered. They were great. I cannot remember the name of the store, or the hopsital now, but it is in Plano at the tollway and parker

I got a Peanut Shell cover for public nursing. Got it at Target online. I loved it!
I also wore nursing tanks from Target and nursing bras at MiMi Maternity.
