Hello!
We attend Scofield Bible church (www.scofield.org) which is on Abrams and Royal. We have lots of Garland people who attend- so the drive can't be too bad!
We have mixed worship music, a focus on "being the church" where we realize our biggest witness as Christians is how we act outside of church.
There is Sunday school for kids- or there is a "family class" where the whole family stays together for Sunday school.
During the school year we offer AWANA on Wednesday night for ages 3y-18y, with tons of opportunities for parents to be involved.
If you have any specific questions please feel free to e-mail me. I am direct in the nursery this Sunday but can still help you find your way around.
Another church that is non-denominational that is kind of near you is Redeemer Bible. It is on Easton and Lake Highlands and has a great deal of family things to do.

We go to Trinity Bible Church in Richardson (Campbell & Canyon Creek). We live in Garland and it only takes us 10 minutes to get there. We have loved it. The people are very warm and welcoming, the children's programs are amazing, and the teaching is very solid. We would love for you to visit sometime. Good luck with the search for a church home!

Hi Jibsy,

My family and I attend Springcreek Community Church in Garland. The church is located at Shiloh and Beltline. The pastor is great and the kids program is lots of fun. We have four services to choose from. Check out our website www.springcreekchurch.org and let me know if you are interested in meeting up if you decide to visit.

Jibsy,

We attend Watermark Community Church, which currently meets in the Lake Highlands High School auditorium, but as of September 9th (I think) will begin meeting in a new facility at 635 and 75.

Watermark is a non-denominational Bible-based church with a realtively young membership, so there is a lot of focus on children and young families. Check out their website:

www.watermarkcommunity.org

Good luck in your search!

Have you tried Lake Point in Rockwall? It is a big church but he does preach a good message.
