I'm having a party for over 60 people. Can anyone recommend a really good caterer that is reasonably priced? My budget is pretty tight.

What can I do next?

Not sure where you are in the Metro area but my friends and fellow church members have a catering company that can serve any type of meal you can think of and are VERY reasonably price. Depending on where you are, they can deliver, too. Their company is called "The Church Ladies Catering". They are located in Carrollton. You can call them at ###-###-#### or ###-###-####.

Not sure what kind of food you are looking for or how upscale but a lot of restaurants cater. We used Taco Cabana for a recent party we had. I can't remember the cost but it was very reasonable. You can pick up a brochure at any of their restaurants. We ordered the fajitas and paid extra to have them deliver and pick up. They brought their own chafing dishes and set up all the food then came back several hours later and picked everything up. All we had to do was store the leftovers. It came with Tea, chips, salsa, etc. Also, we were able to negotiate a cheaper price than what they advertised because of the quantity. I felt like it was totally worth it because I didn’t have to do any work!

I have looked at Boston Market also -- but didn’t use them.

It may sound silly, although we are having a lunch catered for all of our teachers at the end of august and we as the PTA are using Chic Fila. We have around 60 teachers to feed, and it is going to cost $200 to have them deliver and set up. The PTA decided last night we are going to go to SAMS and get the cheese cake bites for desert so as to make sure the $200 we spend at Chic Fila provides filling foods, rather than include desert in the catered price.
Hope this helps.

I was going to suggest Taco Cabana too. We have done fajitas for 70 and it was about 8.00 a person. I know they have many options that would probably be less than 8.00 - like a taco bar.

good luck!
