My 3 yr old son wears glasses due to crossed eye and far-sightedness. Due to insurance change we are currently looking for a new one. If you can recommend someone that you truly trust, please let me know. I'm willing to travel and live in Morris county.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for your help, ladies. My plan is limited to it's drs but Dr. Cavallo is in our plan. Dr. Chen is the dr we used to use but did not participate in our insurance. Thanks for your help!

We love Flanders Family Eye Care. Dr. Jacco is the best!

I took my 2 y/o dd to Dr. Bernstein at Pediatric Ophthalmology Associates, PA. They are at 218 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ - Suite 100. I've only been there once, and the dr. is very good w/ the kids.

FABULOUS DRs - - University Children's Eye Center 678 Route 202/206 Building 5 Bridgewater ###-###-####. We too are in Morris County and this is SO easy to get to. My son also was diagnosed w/ crossed eye & far sightedness at 4. He was patched for a few years, and the crossing is gone. His vision has also been improving as he ages. He's now 9 1/2. We see Dr. Stella Han, but friends have used other DRs in the office.

Though I haven't used her, Dr. Chen in Morristown is another Ped/Optho that many use.

Good Luck!

Hi Kelley,
My family (well my husband's family) has been seeing Dr. Cavallo for years. He is very friendly, kind and soft spoken. When my son is 2, I plan to take him there. He's really great with kids. Here's his information.
Dr. Cavallo
34 Ridgedale Avenue
East Hanover, NJ

Good luck and I know you'll have a great experience with him.

Hi Kelley. I have a wonderful Dr and I know at least 5 moms who have taken their kids to him because of difficult eye problems. He is Dr. Ezra Kazam 2 Washington Place Morristown, NJ 07960 ###-###-####. He talks directly to the child in terms he/she can understand. My girlfriend has been going to him since she was a child. He saved her sight. Really. He can be a little hard to talk to until you get to know him a bit but he will answer every question and send you to a specialist if needed. Be prepared to wait, though. Sometimes I have been there 40 min before getting in to see him. I wouldn't change for anything. I travel quite a way just to go to him. Good luck.
