Hi Mama's! Mine and my husbands 14 anniversary is tomorrow. Our little one ended up sick so I wasn't able to go out and get him anything. I did have a clever idea of getting him 14 small gifts for every year we are married with a note. For instance, Mixed Nuts with a note that says, "I'm still nuts for you". A bottle of whiskey "we get better with age like the whiskey". Any other clever ideas? I stink at being creative and know you guys are a LOT better than me.

Thanks!

I love your ideas!
Just go to the local store or corner market & get him things you know he
will like:
-gum: "I'll stick with you"
-matches: "We're a good match"
-his fave candy: "I'm sweet on you"
-his fave beer: "Let's have a brew-haha" (not my best work)
-14 reasons you love him
-a cheap $1 watch from the Dollar Store: "Time spent with you is timeless"
-write down "your story". How you met, first date etc. Takes you all down
memory lane
Happy Anniversary!

A coupon book you make on your computer? A coupon for things like a back rub or a date night or a "watch-whatever-you-want-on -TV-and -I-won't-complain" night, a chore-free weekend. Just use "word art" or some other simple design template that's already on your computer.

We like to do dates & experiences rather than "things."
Tickets to a show, concert, sporting event, stuff like that. Sometimes I get creative and present the tickets in a cute card, or include it as part of a gift (like baseball tickets wrapped up in a baseball mug or cap or something like that.)
AND there's no need to go out and shop, you can usually print them at home!

Me and my Husband recently had our 16th anniversary.
Being money is tight.... I made him a gift.
I painted him something. Since I have lots of art supplies around already.
And he LOVED it. He put it up on the wall.
I didn't buy, anything.
I made him a gift.
And on that painting, I wrote him a poem in my own words.
And he took me out to dinner.
Just the 2 of us.
It was nice.
He actually forgot our anniversary.
But ya know, it didn't bother me.
I knew he would forget... but he makes it up to me.
He later got me a custom bouquet, made up with the flowers that was in my wedding bouquet.
So even if the "gift" was late, it was very special because he put thought, into it and remembered what my wedding bouquet flowers were!
LOL

There is a book titled, "101 Nights of Great Sex". 50 things for him to do and take the lead on and 50 things for her to do and take the lead on.

How often is up to you.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ! ! ! I hope marriage is as wonderful to you guys as it has been to us. (40 years the end of July.)

Good luck to you and yours.
