Help Moms! A friend has asked my help in finding a location in the Dallas-Ft worth area to throw her husband a lovely, classy birthday celebration in June. It could be a birthday brunch, maybe with jazz, a light lunch, maybe even dinner, with music ,and a lot of atmosphere, but a small budget. She would have about 20-50 guests, possibly a few more. A great restaurant with a private dining room that they allow you to use free would be great. Terrellis in Frisco used to offer this, but I do not think they are in business any longer. If a nomimal fee is required, that woulr be ok. Please send me your ideas!!. Also, would want to have it on a Friday night, Saturday, or a Sunday daytime or evening.Thank you, and God bless!!!!

Don't know if they're near Richardson, but there's a new restaurant - Joe's Italian Villa on ____@____.com do have a private room and I don't know if there's an extra charge, but it's nice. Management is very nice as well.

I know that maggianos offers that. The Plano location does it no more than $20 pp but it has been a while so I could be wrong about the cost...

I would not call any of them inexpensive though

This party you describe sounds like it would be very pricey. Why not slice the guest list down dramatically to 10-15 people. Even with that amount, the check will be very expensive (think about alcohol). I'd actually limit it to 10 people - 4 couples (5 couples including her and her husband). Forget family - invite family over the night before or after for a birthday dinner (have her cook or order in). Stick with 4 couples who are close friends. It will add up very quickly!

You could call Brio Tuscan Grill in Southlake. I'm not 100% sure if they have a private room, but they do have an outdoor terrace that is nice. Here is their information:
