Hi ! We recently moved to the DFW area ( Grapevine) from Boston. I'm a SAHM of a 5 month old baby girl and am looking to meet other moms. We've joined the Little Gym and are taking "Music Together" classes and I'm open to fresh ideas to meet new people as we settle in here.
Thanks!

I am involved with a GREAT MOPS group in Grapevine hosted by Church at the Cross. It's located on William D Tate by 121 and Mustang. We meet once a month from 9:30-11:30 and childcare is provided with your membership (I think it's $75.00 for the year). We have wonderful, inspiring speakers and a chance to meet great women that are in the same season of life as you are. You can go to their website www.thechurchatthecross.com and I think the MOPS info is under Children, then Preschool, or just message me and I can give you more info if you are interested.

Check out www.momsclub.org. There is a Mom's Club in your area. It is a great way to meet other SAHM. I was a member of the HEB Mom's Club and we had a calendar full of activities each month. They are all optional of course, but it was great to have choices of activities. I met some lifelong friends through Mom's Club.

Southlake library has a wonderful storytime for infants. Great way to meet new moms too. http://www.cityofsouthlake.com/southlakegovernment/city_d...

MOPS (as someone mentioned) is also I great way to meet people. I previously belonged, but my chapter has since "shut down."

I'm in the Grapevine/Colleyville chapter of MOM's club and have met some great moms in the area thru that. We have playgroups, Mom's nights out, activities every week, service projects, and monthly meetings. Membership is $25 a year. So many of the members have moved to the area from other parts of the country/world and there is always good advice about resources in the area. Our website is:
