Hello there! Lets help eachother out moms--I am a provider to a small group of kids and also a mom. I am always trying to do some fun projects/crafts with the kids to keep it fun. Especially here when it it raining/snowing and we are trapped indoors. I would love your suggestions for stuff to do--I feel like I am running out of new ideas lately. The ideas should be relatively inexpensive--I have 5 kids to get supplies for, appeal to both boys and girls(which can be anything really), and be age appropriate. ( the kids are all around age 3). I'll be honest I do try to avoid glitter most of the time as it seems to be all over the house and furniture for weeks, but I'll make some exceptions if it is really fun! Let share some ideas. Here is my favorites:

*I let the kids go through old magazines and we cut out things they think they can imitate. Then I glue the pictures on index cards with the word on the back. The kids take turns acting out the pictures while the others guess what they are doing. Examples are a baby, soccer player, someone driving a car.

*Finger painting, chalk, bubbles, watercolors, hopscotch, making cookies, playdoh...all the normal stuff =)

*I also get ideas from FamilyFun Magazine and enchantedlearning.com

Thanks for helping me get the creative juices flowing--the kids say Thanks too!

*Painting with pudding

*Going on a nature walk and taking the items to make a collage or picture

*Anything to do with holidays - for Arbor Day, plant a tree, for Christmas - make a stocking, etc. There is pretty much a holiday each month so you could do something for each one.

*Planting flowers, veggies, fruit - a chance for her to get dirty!

*Playing with shaving cream - either in the tub with no water (in suits if you are a babysitter), outside in a pool or at the table. Bonus: The table gets clean and it smells nice!

*Cotton ball or Q-Tip painting. Don't forget about finger painting!

*Make gak (outside) - this is fun and kids love to play with it!

*Make an obstacle course (inside or outside) using chairs, toys, etc. Have the kids see who can go through it.

*Making noodle necklaces, popcorn on a string, having a game of 'who can eat the marshmallow off a string without using their hands, bobbing for apples

*Decorate aprons, cups, tshirts, shoes, etc with puffy paint

I think you pretty much have everything down packed. My daughter since she was little liked puzzles. I did almost everything you are doing. My boys like coloring and drawing pictures. They would do stories just with pictures :) You can have them do that, a story with cut out pictures and even something fun they did over the weekend with their family.
I used to get a lot of print out from the pbskids.com website and have them color and make stuff.
Cooking something has always been a big thing, cookies, cupcakes, cake, and even make your own icecream sundae, lemonade, stuff like that. The holidays activities always came in handy :)
The other thing we would do was movie time, I would make some popcorn and put in a dvd and enjoy.
But I think you are doing great just by reading what you posted. So, there is not much more I could suggest. :)
Blessings

Have you considered buying a preschool teacher's book? I know our school uses weekly readers and gives the teachers a theme for the week. So our "sand and water" table has become a "sensory table"...one week they discuss trucks, another plants and growing, eating healthy, etc. Then this THEME has different activities, arts n crafts, books/stories and applicable items in the sensory table. Maybe just thinking of a THEME for each week will help jump start your creative juices. Also, I'm SURE the library would have some books that would help you with arts n crafts projects at home.

I know our teachers do a lot of THEMES related to the upcoming holidays, weather/seasons, too. The parents LOVE getting Valentines', Easter baskets made out of cut up paper plates, etc.

I get a large roll of paper, then tape it to the floor. I trace their body with a marker, then let them decorate it. They can draw an outfit on themselves and embellish it with glitter glue, stickers, etc.
Lots of fun!
