Steve and Kari Thompson

We are Steve and Kari Thompson from Apple Valley, MN. Steve is a pilot for a commercial airlines. I am a retired Occupational Therapist and lucky stay-at-home Mom of four children, ages 7, 5, 3, and 1. We have been married for 10 years.
Our Introduction To Reliv Fortunately He Was Listening
Steve was on a trip and overheard another pilot talking on his cell phone about Attention Deficit Disorder and the awesome results someone had experienced while taking a nutritional drink called "Reliv". Our oldest son had just been tested through the public school system for ADD issues per his teacher's recommendation. Tyler was struggling in school, easily frustrated with homework and beginning to feel sad because "I'm the worst reader in my
class." In desperate attempts to help increase Tyler's attention span, his teacher removed all the supplies from his desk and placed them in a tray at the front of the class, strategically positioned his desk for the least distractions possible and required that he use his outdoor recess to catch up on daily work.
We Had To Do Something
Steve and I knew he needed to have consequences for not doing what was expected of him, but we also knew he needed to have his recess time. We agreed that we would complete the unfinished work daily at home and this became just one more place for him to struggle. The ADD testing results indicated that he did not qualify for special services but the possibility of putting him on medication was an option. As parents we were extremely against medicating our child, especially as a first resort. That's when we found Reliv!
Things Began To Improve
Marty (the pilot Steve heard talking) and Angie Smith came to our house to tell us about the product and the business opportunity. We were anxious to get started because of our hope it would help Tyler. We also realized that we all could benefit from better nutrition, so as a family of six we all started on the products. Within four weeks we had a different son including great reports from school, better interactions with his siblings, and increased self-esteem as he came home with an "Eager Reader Award." Homework was no longer a battle. We decided not to tell the teacher that Tyler was taking Reliv to see if she recognized a difference on her own. At conference time she said, "I don't know what has changed for him in the last month,
but he is a different kid."
And They Got Even Better!
We then learned that adding a third shake for Tyler during the day might give him even better results. So I contacted the school nurse, realizing that there are several kids that go to the nurse's office daily to take ADD meds or inhalers for asthma. Why not Reliv? Our pediatrician did not hesitate to send the required order to the school because she recognized what good nutrition was doing for Tyler. It was a good decision because Tyler has made remarkable progress.
Our Whole Family Benefits
Our #2 son has eczema and alopecia, an auto-immune disorder that causes body hair loss. He went from a full head of hair to completely bald with some additional hair loss on his arms and legs in only three months. A short time after starting his Reliv shakes the hair loss slowed down and he did not lose his eyebrows or eyelashes! He had "peach fuzz" after two months and six months later a complete head of hair (Something the doctor said would not happen with his type of alopecia.)
