I have not, however, I just got this inserted last week. I asked my doctor the same question. He said that one of his patients became pregnant and had a child after the Mirena IUC fell out. He said that she was completely unaware that it had fallen out. ????? Anyway, I think that is rare and I believe the child is healthy as well. My doctor said that he performs around 4 Mirena IUC per month.

I have lots of friends that are using mirena. And they love it! And none of them have had any problems. sarahs4sweetboys.com

The chance of getting pregnant is very slim but anything is possible. It has an ever higher rate of protection than birth control pills do though, so it really should protect well. I have had my Mirena IUD in for almost 2 years now and I haven't had any "scares", lol. And the good thing about it is that you can take it out when you are ready to have a baby, and you can become pregnant as soon as the next month. With the pill they say you should wait 2-3 months. Hope I could help some! :)

My sister in law did and she ended up having a miscarriage. The nurse in the ER told her that if she wouldn't have had the IUD in then she wouldn't have had the miscarriage.

A friend of mine did. It is very rare for it to happen, but like all birth control it isn't perfect. Everything was fine with both her and the baby, it was just very unexpected.

The chance of getting pregnant on the Mirena is Super slim, but like the ladies said.... anything is possible. I had mine for 2 years and for the first year I really liked it. Then all of the sudden I started gaining a ton of weight( I had been gaining the whole time I just didn't realize it until it got really bad), feeling exhausted all the time, sometimes very nauseous, sore breasts , so ridiculously moody...it seemed like every month around ovulation(it never prevented me from ovulating) I would gain several pounds and go through the motions of feeling very pregnant. I would take a test and it would come back neg. I was tested for thyroid issues, diabetes...you name it and it all came back negative. I suffered through this for several more months before I made the connection that all my symptoms had started when I got the Mirena and progressively got worse. So needless to say I had it taken out and things have gotten so much better. The weight that I gained is slowly coming off and I feel so much better emotionally and physically. Since having mine out I've heard of a lot of women who have had the same problems as me while on it. The more I think about the more I find that having something implanted in your body to prevent fertility is just not healthy.I know it seems so convenient but with possible problems that could develop it just doesn't seem worth it.

I have had it for almost a year and my ex bf and I never used condoms and we never got pregnant. The other times I have had sex it has been with protection so I wasn't worried about it. Hope everything turns out the way you want!

My two daughters had nothing but complications with their miranas. One fell out after only a few months of pain and the other was just excruciatingly painful.
