Thanks for all the great advise and business name ideas. O.K - I have scrapped the idea of using the word Blue in the name for my business (see previous post) Been brain storming and I am terrible at this. So my current idea list consist of the following ideas. What do you think? New ideas and constructive criticism as well as praise always welcome!

My Market is geared toward healthcare workers
NOW Healthcare Solutions/Products
NOW medical Products
Rose RX (my daughters middle name)
Rose medical supply/solutions/tools/products
Rosemed
b.i.d med supply (everyone in healthcare should know that b.i.d is a common abbreviation for twice a day)
Medstrong (like headstrong - maybe indicates strength)
Medi2 solutions (just random idea)
Medleaf (suggested by another mama)
Inventive Healthcare solutions/products
Inventive Medical products/solutions

What do you think? Remember constructive Criticism as well as new ideas welcome

Thanks Mamas - I am starting to get inspired by your previous responses

I have been working with a trademark guy for the last several months in naming my small business, so I do understand the the process.

My favorite free business naming website to date is PANABEE

I recommend you type in your list above there. It offers variations on your wording choice, conducts a domain name search, twitter, blog search, etc. It's quite thorough.

GL!

As I said before, I like BLUE.

Think blue chip, blue ribbon, etc.
It is O. syllable, easy to remember, non-specific enough for new product growth & expansion....

Nothing "homegrown" for the medical field!

Inventive Health is already the name of a company that supplies staffing and other things to the medical/pharma community, so i would stay away from that.

I have my own company and when we went to get our website we found that many names were taken with .com. Try entering all the names you are considering and see which ones are already in use...that should narrow it down quite a bit. I'm sure you will want a website associated with your company name. Let me know how it goes.

I'm not sure about any of the names you have suggested but one thing to think about is how easy is it to say 100x a day?

Try repeating it 3-4 times really fast and see how it sounds. It's like doing a tongue twister like Unique New York, say that 3 times fast. It usually comes out really funny by the 3rd time. Then think about answering your phone 100x a day with that business name. Maybe record yourself as you say each name repeatedly. See which one sounds the best. You do not want a business name that will sound sloppy or unprofessional as the phone is answered.
