Looking for Stroller Recommendations

Hey Mama's!
I am in the market for a double stroller, and would love some suggestions! I do not want to spend a lot of money. I'll probably end up looking on craigslist or such for a used one. I have a 1yr old & do daycare in my home. I have a 2yr old starting in a week, thus the reason for a double stroller. I've never needed a double before, so I'd love input on good or bad experiences you've had with your double strollers, or any advice on which ones you recommend. With my daughter being only 1, I didn't think an umbrella style would be appropriate, since she still likes to lay down and/or bring snacks with her.
Thanks in advance!!
J.

I actually loved my Graco DuoGlider. It was perfect for me and my kids aged 14 months apart. I had no problems with the weight of the stroller (which was my greatest fear) or the folding -- it was easy to get in and out of the minivan. But the best part was the HUGE storage area. I could fit a golf umbrella in the storage area, in addition to over-stuffed large diaper bag, 2 coats, insulated lunch pack (snacks and drinks) and my medium-sized purse. Plus, it wasn't that expensive.

There was no way I was buying a sit-and-stand when my kids were that young. As soon as your daughter realizes that the older child is allowed to walk/ride whenever he wants, you'll never be able to keep her in the stroller again. Strap them both in and make it a non-issue!

Too bad you don't live closer...I'm ready to get rid of mine. :)
Good luck no matter what you pick!

We love our Mia Moda Compagno sit and stand. It's not a common brand and we had to get it on Amazon. Our baby can sit in the front, and it accommodates car seats for infants (although it sounds like you won't need that). Our toddler can sit on a little bench or stand in the back. It's heavy but very maneuverable since it's shorter than a full double stroller.

I have home day car also and have gone through many strollers. My favorite so far is the valco double although pricey it is worth every penny I have spent. I bought mine at a garage sale but have seen them on Craigslist. Also it easily converts to a triple if you expand.
