Hi,
I am looking for a good preschool program in NW Tucson preferrably in the Amphi School District. I have heard about St. Andrews and St. Marks programs, but don't know to many details. Does anyone know anything about these or any other schools?

What can I do next?

I would recommend Fruits For Kids Playcare, they are a Christian in-home childcare. They are licensed, and so wonderful. They have a great pre-school curriculum to get the kids ready for kindergarten, they do lots of art projects, baking days, parties, fun celebrations, once a month parent's night out, and a lot more. They are incredible and I would highly recommend them. Call them ###-###-####.

J.,
Sunshine Preschool at 9000 N. Oracle is great. They may be booked for the fall semester- so call soon. My five year old attends there now, and my three year-old will attend in August. It's in the Amphi school district.

Hi J.,

I'm A. in NW Tucson. A couple of my friends took their children to St. Andrews and just loved it. I almost took my son there but I could get the time slot I wanted. I also know someone who took their child to St. Marks and she was very pleased with them as well. I ended up at Ascension Lutheran across from St. Marks and they were ok, very affordable but I wasn't as happy as I could have been with the teacher.

Two of my three children currently attend St. Andrew's Preschool, & next year I'll have all three kids there! I cannot say enough good things about it. All the teachers & associates are wonderful. Jan Olafson is the director of the Preschool & Kindergarten, and she is always extremely willing to talk to parents (or perspective parents). Also, she encourages you to observe several classes to make sure St. Andrew's is the right place for your children & your family.

Classes are available for 2yo to Kindergarten. The children have Spanish & music times as well as chapel once a month. Visit the website...
