We have just moved from fort lauderdale up to Palm Springs and now am 45 minutes from the pediatrician that I love and the hospital I work for. Any recommendations of local pediatricians and the best hospital for kids in case of an emergency?

What can I do next?

Palms West Hospital has a pediatric er, pediatric inpatient unit and pediatric ICU. JFK and Wellington do not have any pediatrics at all...if you go there and need admission they will transfer to Palms West. As far as pediatricians, I take my daughter to the Pediatric Center which is behind Wellington Hospital. There are 5 in the group but you can see one in particular...they are all great I have had good experiences with all. It is easy to get an appointment and I rarely wait long at all to be seen. I love their practice (this is my third one).

Welcome to the area. We use Palm Beach Pediatrics, there are three locations and it's a multi-doctor practice. (One office at Palms West, one in WPB on Haverhill and one on Lantana and Jog). It's my understanding that Palms West has a pediatric emergency room.

The best pediatricians in the area are doctors Lourdes Nieves at 2070 S Military Trail, Suite 106, West Palm Beach, FL 33415 ###-###-#### (she works in Dr. Argentina Brito's clinic) and
Guillermo Vila, he works at Saint Mary's Hospital.

The best pediatric care hospitals in the area are St. Mary's, Palms West Hospital and West Boca Medical Center. The only problem with St, Mary's is that it is a very busy hospital.

I used to be a pediatrician's wife, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions I can help you with.

Hello A.,

I live in the Northern part of Palm Beach County so mine may be too far from you but I have been told that JFK medical center is good and it is not far from you at all.

Also, when I lived closer to your area my doctor was at Wellington Regional right off of Forest Hill Blvd and 441. I really liked Dr. Bishop but the wait time was always long. If you can handle that, then I think you would be pleased with the service you would receive. Good luck.
