I am looking for any recommendations for a gynecologist North of Boston. I have an OB/gyn now who is great, but the office situation is a mess with long waits & cancelled appointments due to babies arriving (which is great for all involved, of course).

I love my doctor Mary Boyd in Beverly at Essex County OB/GYN and honestly everyone else in the office I've been in contact with. Barry Burrow's is the dr who actualy delivered my daughter and he is a riot, make you feel so comfortable. My sister's gyn is Louis Di Lillo out of the same office and she loves him.

Hello,

Dr Wu and Dr Krikeles are both terrific. They share a practice in Melrose, Massachusetts.

Evolve Women's Health in Revere. Dr. Dakoyannis was my OB for my last 2 boys. He was fantastic. Very caring. I did occassionally have to wait for my appointment, but none ever cancelled. He has late appointments on Thursdays.

I used Essex County OBGYN(for my second pregnancy) in Beverly (they have another office in Georgetown too) and I loved them. I had visits with most of the doctors but my primary was Dr. Veitch and I LOVED her. I had some complications during my pregnancies and they were not alarmists but very careful.
I used What is now called North Shore Physicians Group in Swampscott (second office in danvers in the women's health building) with my first pregnancy and I had a terrible experience with them. I won't go into all the details but they missed a potentially serious complication with my pregnancy and then when we were trying to conceive our second one of their male dr's called and left a voice mail on a saturday and told me to consult a fertility clinic b/c we may not be able to conceive (we did conceive and it was natural).
I highly suggest Essex County OBGYN

North Shore Physicians Group, OB/GYN (Formerly, OB/GYN of the N.S.) There are offices in Danvers and Swampscott. I'm not sure which part of the North Shore you live but the Swampscott office is organized and only once during my pregnancy did my Dr. have to run out of a check up to deliver a baby. I loved all the Drs. in the Swampscott office and would've been happy to have any of them deliver my baby.
Good Luck.
