we are relocating to nashville and i love the looks of hendersonville but am at a loss as to the best schools there. we are moving at the end of this school yr (husband is already there and commuting). my son will be in 3rd grade and daughter in kindergarten. thanks,

my daughter is a kindergartner in jack anderson elem. im not sure which school is the best, thats the only one ive directly dealt with. most of the schools here are good though! i work in a preschool in hendersonville as well as live in hendersonville. i think its a great place to raise children! welcome to hendersonville!
I have a 5 yearold son that is in kindergarten too. We live in Whitten Elementary school zone. It use to be Wessington Place Elementary. It is a nice school. But in hendersonville there are alot of nice schools. I moved here from md about 2 years ago and sumner county has the best schools for our son. He has autism. But look into Beech that is also a very nice school.

By far the best Elementary SChool in Hendersonville is Wessington Place Elementary. My children attended there even after we moved 30 minutes away. I loved the school, teachers and principal so much I made the drive 2 times a day to get them there. I believe the principal has since passed away but the school is still great!

Hendersonville has may wonderful schools, my three children, now 23, 16 & 13 all attended George Whitten Elementary (formerly Wessington Place Elementary) and it was wonderful. My daughter attended Indian Lake Elementary for 2 years (1st & 2nd Grade) and I much preferred Wessington. My daughter and her husband recently bought a home in the Wessington area so their 13-month-old will be able to go to George Whitten Elementary, in the future.
