Looking for Good Dermatologist

My 17mo son has just started breaking out with Eczema. I have mild adult Eczema and my 5 year old had it really bad when she was younger too. We are looking for a good Dermatologist (they don't all do children). My daughter's old one moved farther away, and we live in far East Mesa. Just wondering if anyone has any recomendations.

What can I do next?

Hi M.,

Skin eczema is typically an easy fix. It's either environmental or diet. Do you use store-brand laundry products? If yes, this is typically the culprit. I don't want to write a long email; so please call me at ###-###-#### so I can discuss this with you.

Warm Regards,

I had to take my 2 year old to a dermatologist for eczema and molluscum contagiosium (little red bumps that would not go away...developed on top of the "dry patches") My husband has mild eczema also. We went to English Dermotology...Gilbert (Lindsay Rd-###-###-####) Although, it was a 2 month wait to get in! They gave me a cream, and it was not clearing up the bumps...I decided to research on the internet...I found something called "silvercure" that cleared up my son's bumps within a few weeks! I just treat the dry patches with Aquafor, and it seems to be doing the trick.

M.,
I don't have a doctor to recommend but a product! I am part of a company that is build on health and wellness. They manufacture products that don't have the harsh chemicals in them - most of which are what cause Eczema. You basically change your home products, eliminate the chemicals and harsh ingredients and eczema is controlled with the use of strong steriodal creams or drugs.

If you are interested e-mail me and I will share all the details!

I think Dr. Stockton in Chandler takes children. She is really good and efficient.

I went to a dermatologist on power and brown, behind that sonic and shell on that corner. I don't know if they do kids though. But I liked the dr and the staff, and my grandma goes there too and she is also pleased. It's been a few years to I don't remember his name, sorry.

Hi M.,
Just FYI, something I found out with my kids is that Eczema is usually the first sign of a food allergy. For our oldest son, it developed into respiritory problems and Asthma before we figured this out. We had our kids tested, eliminated the foods, and the problems have completely disappeared over the past several months. It's a lot of work, but so well worth it as we no longer deal with the symptoms and do not have to give them medications.
If you would like more specific information, please feel free to contact me.
