Looking for Family Doctor for My Daughter

Hi Ladies! My daughter is 10 and is beginning to blossom. She doesn't want to go to the pediatrician any more. Do any of you have a good recommendation for a female family doctor around 40th St/Bell or Tatum/Bell? Someone who is easy to talk with and will really listen? She rarely goes to the doctor (maybe once a year), so she's not super-comfortable.

So What Happened?

Thanks Ladies for the great referrals and advice! After reviewing the medical board information for her (no complaints or adverse actions), I've made an appointment with Dr. Dwivedi for next month. Hopefully my daughter will "click" with her :)

Funny, I've seen Dr. Dvidei from Saguaro Family Practice as well...she is great. There is also another doctor at that practice, Dr. Guswathi who is so sweet and thoughful. They both always remember my name and my kids names. They both go by Dr. D and Dr. G...they even look alike. I see Dr. Rada and have gone to that practice for 10 years. They have great hours and can always get you in right away. The number is ###-###-####.

I highly recommend Dr. Dwivedi @ Saguaro Family Practice at 18404 N. Tatum Blvd., Ste. 101 (near Union Hills). She's young, very patient, will answer any number of questions you have...doesn't rush you. And most important she LISTENS...good luck!

You may want to consider seeing a doctor who is board certified in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. That way you don't have to switch doctors when they get to a certain age (one stop shopping for the whole family). Maybe ask your Pediatrician for a referral in your area for a Dr. who is Med.-Peds. I know many on the west side of town, but not your area. Good Luck.

My husband an I really like Dr Vogt at 56th St and Bell. He is very friendly, thorough, an a good doctor. I also really like how they do the labs in office if your insurance supports it. His nurses are really nice and he has another doctor in his practice so if he goes on vacation (rarely), you can still see the other doctor. The only thing I don't like is some of their office staff because they haven't been very helpful at times. ###-###-#### is his number.
