I take my son to Central Pediatrics as well. We see Dr. Farrell. She has been great with my son. I would highly recommend the clinic, as well as Dr. Farrell. My ob/gyn recommended them to me, and we've been very happy with them. You can look up info at www.centralpeds.com.

We take our son to Central Peds as well - Dr. Sweetser. She is great with him. We've seen a few of the other pediatricians there as well and think everyone is very good. www.centralpeds.com

I recommend Michele Peterson at Woodwinds. I wasn't sure which lady to see but ended up with her because I could get later appointments and her schedule was open more than one of the other ladies I was considering. Michele is wonderful! She is so nice, personable, makes me laugh with how she explains the little things my child is doing, she's tentative, answers my questions, gives me guidance when I don't know what to do, she has kids of her own, and gives me her time to you at the appointment. It's not like you're in and out and thank you for your money. You won't feel rushed.

Here's the website to the facility. I couldn't find a write up on them but they do have pamphlets on each ped. that maybe they can mail you.

R.,

I just moved to the area last winter but have taken both my kids to Central Peds/Priority Peds. We have seen many of the doctor's in this clinic (with 2 young kids I am at the Ped. every other week it seems) and they are all very good. Our main doc is Dr. Crosby-Schmidt and she is awesome. Very good at listening and gives lots of practical advice on parenting too. I can't express how happy I am with this clinic in the fact that they are open late and on weekends. One day I came in at 5:15 with my daughter and was home by 5:45! They are prompt and don't leave you waiting for hours even for a dropin appt. Their billing dept is also very good about filing insurance quickly. Good luck with the baby!

I take my two children to Sara Sweetser @ Central Pediatrics. They are right off of Valley Creek & Belienberg (sp?). She is absolutly wonderful! She's great with kids, very laid back, you can always get a same day appt, no problem and most importantly, my daughter gets excited to go see her! I've also seen Dr. Strong. She's good as well. GOOD LUCK!

Stillwater Medical Group has some good docs, and they just opened a new clinic. We have a family medicine doctor, who is just great--she knows and treats our whole family. Consider this option too if you haven't! Good luck!

Our pediatrician for 6 of our 7 kids is Dr. Kelly Delahunty with Pediatric and Young Adult Medicine. She offices in both Lake Elmo (High Pointe Medical Center) and St. Paul (office is connected to Children's/United Hosp). She is super wonderful and we love her lots!!! At one time, there was a waiting list to get her as a dr., but I guess you could try and see if she is available for new babies. I can't say enough good things about her and HIGHLY recommend her to everyone. The Lake Elmo office # is ###-###-####. Best of luck with your baby next month!

High Point in Lake Elmo is an excellent place. Called Pediatric and Young Adult Medicine. I highly recommend Dr. Kelly Delahunty. She is very busy, but will make you and your child very special.

Is Maplewood too far? If not, Dr Gendreau at Aspen Medical Group is wonderful. She spent a lot of time w/ me at my son's recent 18 month check up and really listens and addresses any concerns. I think they are still taking new patients--###-###-####.
