My daughters pediatricain recently left the clinic he was with and moved to somewhere in Illinois and I'm have difficulty finding where he relocated to (asked the clinic they said all they new was he went to Illinois). So I'm looking for a new doctor for my little girl some where in Indiana or Illinois close to Lansing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated I don't really want to just get out the yellow pages and try to find a new doctor that could take days.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I called the office of Dr. Tumacder and she wasn't available today so I took her to Dr. Katbi and she was awesome! Everyone at the office was really great. Unfortunately I found out my daughter has strep throat but she got some medicine and I'm sure she'll be feeling better soon. They asked how I heard of them so I told them about mamasource and they were very interested in it! Thank you all for your advice!

Hi A., My whole family goes to see Dr.McIntire in Griffith IN on Cline Ave the number is ###-###-####.He also has an office in Hammond IN. He's a great doctor and works great with my nine and four year old. My kids love to good to the doctors believe it or not. He works with them and listen to what they have to say. I cannot say enough about him even my parents went to him before they moved. He also take time to see how everyone is doing. Hopefully you can find a doctor that you and your little girl can feel comfortable with. Good Luck T.

We just started with Dr. Mark Greenberg in St. John. (Our pediatrician moved, too.) He is very kind and gentle with the children. He takes a long time to listen and explain. He is with Medical Specialists. The number is ###-###-####. Good luck.

Me, my husband and our three girls see Dr. Debra Zack. She's located at the North West Indiana Family Clinic on the corner of Indianapolis Blvd and 169th st. in Hammond. She's absolutely wonderful. She has a very sympathetic bedside manner. She's a DO (doctor of osteopathy) which means she can do your paps and pelvics. She used to be an OB/GYN until she had children.

Not only do we see her, but my Mom, Dad, sister, MIL, FIL, Grandma-in-law,and 2 Aunts-in-law. I sent my cousin to see her last week (she needed a new doc because of new insurance) and will be switching her boys over to her as well. She's very thourough and we just love her.

The phone # there is ###-###-####.

Hi A. ~ I absolutely love Dr. Christina Tumacder in Highland, IN. She practicies w/ a Dr. Katbi. They are both very good with the kids. They get down to their level & tell them everything they are doing as they do it. If you want her number, you can email me - I don't have it at hand right now. Good luck finding a new doctor. I know how stressful it can be!
