Looking for a Mommy and Me Group or Story Time

I am a member of the Jacksonville AR moms group. It is a group on yahoo and we meet every Wednesday at 9:00 am at the McDonald's on JFK in Sherwood. There are kids of all ages, from 2 months to 4 years, that get down and play while the moms talk. It is a fairly new group that just started a couple months ago, and I really like it. I was like you and wanted my son to be around other kids, but not go to daycare. He is 14 months old and I stay at home with him. We would love to have you join our group. The Jacksonville Library has a story time thing by age group. Call them and see what they have. The kids get to sit on pillows, make crafts and play with each other in a back room of the library.

The base has a freeplay playgroup every Friday at 10am. They also have a structured playgroup on Monday and Tuesdays at 10:15. I'm also a part of a new playgroup call the Jacksonville Arkansas Moms. They have a Yahoo group and a My Space group. We meet every Wednesday at the McDonalds at Indian Hill, on JFK Blvd/107. You can call the Family Adv. for more info on the base playgroups. The Friday one last 2 hours, both groups are at the TCAC. Fridays are in the big slide room and the other is in the ballroom. - A.

The base has a playgroup on Fridays at 10am-12pm. It is at the TCAC. I take my two boys there every week. We love it.
