Looking for a Homeopathic Practitioner in the Bellevue/Seattle, WA Area

Does anyone know a talented and intuitive homeopathic practitioner to help treat my daughter's chronic eczema, allergies and asthma? I am specifically looking for a homeopathic practitioner, not recommendations for other alternative therapies. We went to a fantastic woman on the East Coast whose treatments really helped, but I do not know of anyone out here.

What can I do next?

Hi, I understand you are not looking for 'other' recomendations, however you really need to check this woman out. Dr. Que Areste, ND. She practices NAET (naet.com). This is an allergy elimination treatment. I have seen a direct result for relieving other skin problems. Go to the website and look her up. I am sure you will be able to discuss all the homeopathy you want with her, she is very well rounded, talented and intuitive. Good Luck.

C.,
I wish I could tell you the name of someone I personally know on the Eastside, I do know a name of a gal by Greenlake. Jennifer Huntoon. My Grandfather was a Naturopath and so we were brought up in that lifestyle. There is a clinic in Bellevue here is the link it is a homeopathic clinic for children http://www.childhomeopathy.com. You may also want to contact Bastyr University in Kirkland, they can either reccomend you to a homeopath or to one of their clinics. I hope this helps you somehow!! Good luck!

Yes, we're working with Elizabeth Brandegee who practices constitutional/classical homeopathy. I'll send you her number privately so I'm not posting it on a public board as it's her cell number.

After much trial and error, food allergy tests, and elimination diets I found my DD eczema was due to formaldehyde allergy and chemical sensitivities. Since getting those things out of our personal care products and household cleaners she's been 100% eczema free for 3 years. My hubby has been asthma free for almost 2.5 years. Even while fighting bronchitis.

I have been going to myself for 9 years and taking my children since birth to a Naturopath in Seattle. Dr. Bobbi Lutack at the Evergreen Center for Integrative Medicine. She is a wonderful doctor and person and a mother herself. ###-###-####

My naturopath is Tamara Cullen, ND. I and a number of friends all use her and she is incredible--with both adults and children. She successfully diagnosed a case of encephalitis (sp?) in a friend's son that all of the experts at Children's missed. She is located at 2901 Blakely St near "All for Kids" right outside U. Village...and she is a preferred provider with a number of insurance companies (Aetna for sure). Her phone is ###-###-####. Good luck!

I realize naturopathy is different than homeopathy, but if that's of interest, definitely try Dr. Chenelle Roberts

We have used a wonderful woman on the eastside at Children's Homeopathic Clinic. Her name is Dr. Keyes. She has a wonderful disposition- warm, caring and attentive. We have used her for skin conditions, as well, and she was recommended by a friend whose son had a couple of mysterious skin occurrences that she was able to help. And now he calls her "magic". It isn't cheap, but well worth it. Good luck- it sounds like there are quite a few good practitioners to choose from.

Here is the info for the clinic:

C.,
There is an excellent husband and wife team in downtown Edmonds at the Northwest Center for Homeopathic Medicine, Robert Ullman and Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman. Their office number is ###-###-#### and their website is www.healthyhomeopathy.com. They do both in person and phone appointments. I worked for them, and have been their patient and have several friends who go to them as well. I highly recommend them. They are in Edmonds on Tuesday and Wednesday and in Langley on Mondays and Thursdays. The staff at their office is wonderful and very helpful. The Ullmans have also written several homeopathic books including "Homeopathic Self-Care" and "The Patients Guide to Homeopathy." I'm sorry if this sounds like a commercial for them, but I want you to have as much information as possible so you can make the best choice for your family whether you choose to go to the Ullmans or not.
Best of Luck!

Hi C.,

I see a great naturopath on the eastside (downtown Kirkland), named Lisa Wada. She has a practice with another woman, Jennifer Zorin. She used to practice in Ballard and I started to see her after my daughter was born for some post-partum issues (weight gain, depression). She then moved to the eastside, and I still continue to see her. She's expecting her second child this summer, so I'm not sure if she's taking new clients. www.soundnaturalmedicine.com/index.php
She may refer you to Jennifer Zorin, and I've heard good things about her too.

I know she's a naturopath, not an exclusive homeopath, but she does have homeopathic training and uses homeopathic remedies extensively. She worked in the dispensery at Bastyr during her medical training and has prescribed compounds and tinctures for me that I have benefitted greatly from.

I really enjoy seeing her because she's very straightforward and doesn't talk to me like I'm incapable of understanding. she is extensive and thorough when she is getting information as well as when she describes the treatment for an issue. She will email with you and she works with most insurance. I went to her for my first annual after my daughter was born and it was like night and day from my last annual at my conventional GYN! She was so detailed and thorough and I never felt rushed or like "just another number".

Good luck. I'm sure you'll get lots of wonderful recommendations!
