Hello! My inlaws' birthdays are coming up soon and they had just been talking about how they both love lobster but because it's so pricey, it's far and few between that they ever eat it. I'm not familiar with the restaurants here yet, so can anyone recommend a wonderful restaurant that's known for lobster. I don't even know what the market price is, but I'm thinking of maybe $50-75 per person? Thank you so much. I know they will love this treat!

What can I do next?

Try Sweetwater on Eastern and Serene/Richmar or King's Fish House at the district.

Everything at the Tillerman Steak & Seafood restaurant is wonderful. They've been in town for over 20 years and are family owned (not a chain).

J.,

Well with that price range I would say Red Lobster, it's one of my favorite places to go. Another really good lobster place is called the Rosewood Grill, but they are reeeeally expensive!! Hope this helps..

Have a great time with the inlaws

Red Lobster has good lobster but if you're looking to save a little money yet still treat them the RIO hasa great seafood buffet that includes lobster cooked anyway you can imagine amoung all other types of seafood cooked in all sorts of ways as well!!! The BIG plus is that it's all you can eat & it's $30 or $35 per person. I highly recommend it since it has a great variety of sea food choces from lobster, oysters, crab, shrimp, clams, scallops, fish, squid, octopus,& crawfish!!! This sounds funny but if you do go there you'll feel like you're on the Bubby Gump Ship boat. Shrimp gumbo, shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp, fried shrimp....You get the idea. Well, good luck & I hope my advice helps you out.

I recommend The Palm steakhouse at Caesar's. It has a fun, bustling atmosphere and they have these huge lobsters that weigh several pounds that you can share. Ask your server how much you might need for your size party. Also a good thing to share in combination with the lobster would be their double steak. We also really enjoy the hearts of palm salad, creamed spinach, and fried potatoes and onions. If you're budget-minded, you might consider doing lobster tails at home. They are available at Costco and can be easily baked. Good luck!

The Oyster bar at the Palace Station makes great Lobster Gumbo. I don't know if they serve lobsters whole. You could always give them a call. =)
