Hi Mamas,
I've been through the listings of Peds in Plano and I can't truly tell who to choose for my kids. I have been with my current Pediatrician's office since my first child. But they have made a couple critical mistakes and I am looking to move.
I want one near Plano that has decent hours M-F and sick appts on Saturday. They should have sick appts available through the day and the appts should be with doctors on the regular staff. They should be knowledgable but listen to the parents, too.
Is your doctor such a person? Please let me know

ditto for Kit Newton (his name is Christopher if you look him up). He is great, thorough, and patient with hardley ever a wait. His partners are good, too!

I don't know if she meets all your criteria or if you've been to her or not, but I recommend Dr. Ronda Merchant at Medical Center of Plano. She's wonderful.
Dr. Kit Newton at Centennial Pediatrics is our pediatrician, and he is great. He is located in Frisco off 121 and Coit so not too far from Plano. They are open until 5 M-F and Sat. mornings until noon. My oldest has only had to go twice for sick visits, and they got me right in. One was on a Sat. morning. I have never had any problems with them. I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 3 1/2 month old.
