Hello-
Does anyone happen to know of a good place to have a birthday party in the Plainfield area? My son is turning 4 and we were going to have a family party but now it's turning in to a bigger event. Kind of stressed because our house is too small and uncertain of locations. I've checked Bounce U Up but they are booked.

Thank you so much for your help!
Sara

I had my 5 year-old's birthday at GymQuest and it went well. I was happy with everything.

I have not gone there yet but found Nibbles Play Cafe on line (Wheeling). If you like the bouncy structures try Airtastic in Aurora.

We just went to one that is not in Plainfield, but very close...on Route 30. It is Fore Family Fun Center. The kids did awhile in the bounce area, had pizza and cupcakes, opened presents, then a game on blacklight mini-golf. The party hostess did a great job, even taking pictures for you throughout the party--even took a pic of the cake. They give you the pics on a jump drive at the end of the party along with Thank You cards with discount coupons for the pizza restaurant in the facility (very good food, I might add). The best part was that you weren't rushed to finish up. It's kind of a new spot so it isn't super crowded. The party was scheduled from 4:15 to 6:00 and we went over just a little on the golf. One thing I don't like about some of the bounce places is that you have two hours--max and they are pushing you out the door. I've been to one bounce place for parties several times where they are rushing the kids on the opening gifts. Barely giving the kid a chance to get it open and taking it from their hands. The poor kids just have this glazed look and it isn't enjoyable for them. The hosts are constantly watching the clock and you had better be out the door the second the party ends! I know they have other parties scheduled, but I think they try to cram too much in one day.

Recently went to parties at Island Hoppin in Crest Hill, Jump Zone in Romeoville and Fore in Oswego. All were nice.
