I purchased a set of Rachel Ray's Iodized cookware, but don't see anywhere if it's dishwasher safe...does anyone know?!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I didn't think so...and have been washing by hand since I got @ Christmas time. Hectic schedule, but will continue to wash by hand just to prolong the lifespan...too expensive. I may just put the lids in the dishwasher. Thanks for all the advice.

I have washed my iodized cookware in the dishwasher and it really reduces it lifespan. I bought a new pot recently and have made an effort to was it by hand and it is holding up really well. So I would say to not was in the dishwasher.

Typically, you should always hand wash your pots and pans. If it has a non-stick coating you deffinately only want to hand wash because the dish detergent will damage the non-stck coating. Also, you want to only use real oils in the pan if it is non-stick or a residue will be created and you will loose the non stick properties and your food will start sticking.

If it has any kind of coating on it, you should NOT wash in dish washer. The detergent is very h*** o* coatings such as those. My JC Penny Cooks anodized pans are all hand washed and are easy to clean. No trouble at all. I love them.
