Hi there, hoping someone can provide a recommended source for pre-printed 1st bday invitations. I've looked on vistaprint..but didn't see any designs that grabbed me. I also don't want to spend upwards of $1.00/card.. If you have any suggestions for inexpensive companies that offer modern/graphic styled invitations, that would be great!

Hi K.,
There are definitely more on-line places to get invitations. Just do a search on Google. I got mine from Celebrate Express.com. I seem to remember Oriental Trading Co. was pretty reasonable as well.
Good Luck!

You could get a blank invitation package at Staples or Michaels/A.C.Moore and print and decorate something yourself.

I bought cards at Walmart that were Baby Einstein. It comes with the border and tells you how to set up Word to print out the smaller page. Everyone thought I had them printed up. I'm sure you could go to a Party Supply store and find a different border that suites you. I looked online at the printed ones to find a verse that I liked. Good luck!

you can design cards on your computer using plain old Word from microsoft. there are templates you can download for free, if you google search, and the you can add images or change colours or what not.

otherwise, i'd suggest some construction paper or something similar and a great project!

Hi there,

I have an 11 month old girl (b-day 6/22/07). I used simplytoimpress.com I got lots of compliments, but I think it was a little more pricey than $1/card. Also, try tinyprints.com.

Good luck.
