Inexpenive Gift Basket Ideas for Our Subcontractors Involving Alcohol

My husband and I usually give a little cheese and cracker gift basket to our subcontractors through our business as a thank you during the holidays. I don't want to do the same old thing this year. I'm thinking something with alcohol? Maybe schnapps and hot chocolate? That is all I can come up with. It kind of needs to be something they can share at a company christmas party. Ideas?? Thanks

What can I do next?

Get some good beer 6 packs and put the bottles in those tin buckets (like you can buy on bars, etc.) fill with paper shreds instead of ice and add a bag of good peanuts in the shells. Wrap it all up in cellowrap.
What guy wouldn't like that? :)

Bloody Mary basket: vodka or pepper vodka, V8, olives, pickled asparagus, swizzle sticks, good worcestershire sauce...?

If you really are in Montana, Headframe Spirits in Butte makes a Bourbon Cream Liquor that is great in coffee, I have bought it in Missoula, I am sure you could find it in Billings. You could make a basket with that and some good coffee.

For some guy friends I've take a 6-pack of their favorite beer, threw in some packs of nuts, sunflower seeds & gum then wrapped in that cellophane wrap (like they do for kids Easter baskets).

They seemed like they were a hit. (Hope they didn't lie.) ;)

Beer & Peanuts in a tin bucket. There are some nice micro-brews in your area that would make a fantastic gift. Or, buy a half dozen bottled 6 packs and mix them up so they get a variety. Pepperment schnapps & hot cocoa is classic so you can't go wrong there! Maybe garnish the basket with a pepermint stick? Do you have coffee mugs with your company logo that you could add to the baskets? If not, you might be able to get some made quickly.

If they are men, I would avoid girly beverages.

We had a Superbowl Party at our house two years ago and one of the couples brought the easiest/cutest beer bucket! They took a plain bucket (like you would find at Party City) with a handle, filled it with a 12 pack of high-end peer and then used different color tissue paper (team colors) to "fill in the gaps". The included a bottle opener and it was great!

Are you sure all of them drink? Just one thing to verify before including alcohol as a gift. -I would feel bad giving alcohol to someone who was a recovering alcoholic or someone who just didn't drink for personal reasons/beliefs/etc. so they would be the only one left out and had no real gift from the company. I've had many friends tell me that they were 1 out of a group of coworkers that they were the only 1 that didn't drink for whatever reason and most of the time, people didn't realize it. ... Anyway, just something to think about looking into. :)
Merry Christmas!

You could make your own Kahlua and print off a label on your computer. There are plenty of easy recipes online.

What type of business? Construction? If construction, I would recommend a variety of beer.

In my office, our favorite gift is the bagels.
