Does anyone have a GREAT Chiropractor that has been practicing for a least 20 years and is low pressure about coming in for adjustments? I am also looking for someone who does appropriate therapies before adjustment like heat and Electric Stimulation and follows up with ultra sound or Electric Stim. if needed. I prefer the Gilbert area. Thanks for your help!

Dr. Howard Fern at A+ Chiropractic. He is at McQueen and Guadalupe. I have tried others but he can always get me feeling better after one visit. I have lower back pain for most of my adult life. ###-###-####

Hi K.-

I see Dr. Jason Loth, who is the partner of Jon Porman, (sports docs) which another mom suggested. They are both excellent, Dr. Loth is the best I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Located on McQueen and Eliot, ###-###-####. They also have a website www.azsportsdoc.com

Dr. Porman works on celebrities, olympic atheletes, I mean he has autographed boxing gloves of Sugar Ray Leonard in his office and takes a week off to go to the olympic trials...he's really good. They both are. best of luck to get you pain free!

Dr. Cary McDonald ###-###-####. He used to be in Gilbert, but has now moved to just off the 101 on Baseline. He is GREAT! I have sent so many people to him, both my husband and I go to him.

He is low-key and will not try to sell you "packages" or push you into a schedule. We usually see him only when we need to... when my neck is out-of-whack, I might see him twice a week for 2 weeks and then not again for 4-6 months. He has often come in outside of his regular hours to accommodate people, especially if you are in pain; and he does Electric stim, etc. Highly recommend him.

Hi K., I love my chiro as does everyone else I've sent to him. He's been a chiro for 30 years and has an office off Alma School and Warner. He does both the manual adjustments as well as the activator for the "chickens"! His cash plan is less than most co-pays and he is very low pressure. He does not make you put a down payment on a "payment plan" or anything like that like a lot of chiro's do. I was born with 2 birth defects and have a terrible back and he has helped me tremendously! Here is his contact info:

I go to Sonny Sampedro at the Relief Source at Alma School & Guadalupe. Not sure how long he has been practicing, but I am sure it is over 10 years at least or more. He is amazing and always starts out with a deep tissue massage before doing anything. He adjusts based on what body needs, not just to do cracks and has helped me through 2 pregnancies even. I have been to quite a few chiros in the past, and he is the only one whose technique (less crack, and a LOT more other therapies) allows my body to go even longer, so I tend to go once a month or just as needed. I felt like when I went to a chiro who just cracked, I had to keep going back every week or so. What a waste of time/money. Anyways, here's his number if you want it...###-###-#### Good luck, and although he is not in the Gilbert area I find he is worth the 10-15 min. drive (and I live in Gilbert also).
Take care,
J. W.

I have gone to Dr. Jon Porman (Sports Docs) for years. His office at McQueen and Elliott. He's wonderful and has a lot of integrity. He does the additional therapies in his office. He's very low pressure.

Hi K.,

I wasn't going to respond, looked like you had enough, but you have things in common with this Chiro. Anyway, my Chiropractor is fantastic!! Very gentle, very informative. His wife is a photographer as well and he has 4 kids. My family has been going to him since our move here in 2005. He's on the corner of Brown and Gilbert, behind Sprouts. I know you'll LOVE him.
