I Need to Know How to Sell a Set of China Asap.

I decided to sell my Royal Doulton that was still being made. I called Replacements and Tabletops who told me to send it to them, then they would send me a check(no deals until they saw it). I don't trust, so I did Ebay.
A woman in NY thought my full price was a STEAL because even with shipping, it was a discount. You MUST wrap each piece in bubblewrap and then tape them all together so they don't jiggle. Then use 3" or more peanuts around them. No one reimburses for damage unless you package it right.
Charge shipping to the person. Everyone wants to know how much so go ahead and pack it after taking pictures. Then you can use shipping calculator.

You can try Craigslist, Thrifty Nickle/American Classifieds, your local paper.
Ebay got me a buyer for all the pieces within one week.

There's always craigslist and ebay. If you have a home furnishings consignment shop in your area, you may want to see if they can sell it there for you.

Get the info off of the bottom of one of the plates. Call an antique dealer and see if they would be interested in some china.
Take some pics of the set and place them on ebay or do an ad on Craigslist.

I've never sold anything to them so I'm not sure how much they would pay compared to what you would get in a private sale.

I listed a Christmas pattern on Craigslist (with lots of great pieces) and never got any calls.

Is it unusual china that is old? If so you may take it to a local antique dealer, otherwise I would put it on Craigslist or E-bay. Hope this helps.
