How Much Would You Pay for a Used Treadmill?

So, I have a used treadmill that we got when we moved here 7 months ago. It's old and in used condition, but it does work perfectly. It even has a fan on it that works. The thing is, we don't use it. I just got a gym membership and so it just sits there up in our bedroom taking up space. I really haven't even touched it in about 4 months. I wanted to post it on craigslist but I'm not sure how much I should post it for? How much would you pay for a used but perfectly working treadmill?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

thanks everyone! I will do some research on it and compare prices with ebay and craigslist. Yes, I did buy it used, so I know I won't get too much for it. Thank you!!

Okay if you say it is old and in used condition but you have only had it seven months that says to me you bought it used. If that is the case you ask about half of what you paid.

How much did you pay for it? I think the answer depends largely on the quality of the particular machine.

I paid $120 for mine off of Craigslist. It was about 1 1/2 years old when I got it. It was $350 new. (I looked it up.) I think it depends on what it cost new, then take off for how many ever years it is old.

HTH!

I would check on ebay for the make and model you have and go from there - list it on Craigslist - but use ebay as the indicator on how much they are going for...

you can search Craigslist as well to see how many of your make and model are listed there as well....

GOOD LUCK!!

I've worn out too much equipment. I know that most treadmills in the home really only have about 3000 miles in them. I wouldn't pay a lot. It depends on the model of course.

look it up on ebay and then price yours similarly to what those are priced, Usually the rule is that you sell something for 1/3rd of what you bought it for. wish you were closer i want one.

Personally, I would never buy a used treadmill. You never know what you're going to get. New ones aren't all that expensive. If you don't get any takers on Craigslist you could always freecycle it!

I'll give you $50 for it if you bring it to me in Ca. (o:

Depends on the model. I paid $400, but mine was a gym-quality LifeFitness model at was appx. $2000 new and it was well taken care of in an upstairs home gym. The main user was a high school cross country runner and her parents sold it when she went to college.

We bought ours last May at a garage sale for $25. Anymore and I wouldn't have bought it.
I have seen them at garage sales for $100+ but I would never pay that kind of maney for exercise equipment, no matter what it was
