I know I implanted and now I've had some bleeding. It's too early to test with a pregnancy test. It's 9 DPO. I have the classic breast tingling and was nausuated last night. I know my body and I'm pregnant. However, yesterday I had some tiny spots of implantation bleeding. It's just tiny spots, but it's more than I thought it'd be. How much is normal? It's definitely just tiny spots of blood, not a period, but still. How much is normal? Also, what color? Mine is bright red.

Oh, and I'm having some cramping too. What are other people's experences with implantation and cramping??

I had what I was told was an implantation bleed with my first son. I was about 8 or 9 weeks pregnant at the time. It was bright red and I actually had to wear a tampon to protect my clothing. It was bright red for a few days and it begin to turn a dark brown. This went on for almost two weeks. i did not have any cramping. I would not have thought what i experienced was normal but I guess everyone is different.

How do you KNOW that you implanted?

I've been through this a few times. I've had implantation bleeding that was quite worrisome, but then everything was fine.

There is really nothing you can do but wait. I hope everything turn out great for you!

The amount of implantation bleeding can vary widely and still be considered normal. Some women don't bleed at all, while others experience the same amount of blood that they do with their period. I wouldn't worry at all with just a little spotting. Totally within the normal range. I knew a couple of women who thought they miscarried because they bled very heavily, and it turned out they just had severe implantation bleeding. Their babies were totally fine.

Congrats on your pregnancy! I'm now just shy of 5 weeks too. I had some implantation bleeding around that time, maybe 7 dpo. It was red too but it was one time when I wiped but I knew it was too early for my period. I think a couple days later I had light pink spotting too. Wishing you a healthy 9 months!

I actually got a positive pregnancy test only 6 DPO and then after finding out, had implantation bleeding. It freaked me out slightly because this is my first pregnancy and I thought that I for sure couldn't find out that I was pregnant before implantation bleeding occurred. Apparently everything was okay though since I'm now approaching 20 weeks.

Anyway, when I had bleeding it was only a small amount, tiny spots. What freaked me out is it was around as much as I might've expected on that very last day of my period when I'm barely bleeding at all. I don't know how much is normal, as they say it is different for everyone, but mine wasn't that much and was only for a few hours that day. It was like brownish/reddish too.
