What can I do next?

Jewelry making or some kind of craft project that they can take home is good!

Don't know how much room you have....basement, etc. but TWISTER (you can have two teams) or the new TWISTER HOPSCOTCH.

One of my FAVORITES (even for adults) is to tie a string to a blown up balloon. Each girl ties the string to one ankle. On the "GO" signal everyone starts to try to pop everyone else's balloon. You are OUT if your balloon gets popped. Last "balloon standing" wins.

Also.......you can go to places like CARD PARTY OUTLET and they SELL books that are nothing but party games.

You didn't mention a theme. Do you have one?

Well it should be a fun night. They haven't started wear ing bras yet so they won't be putting those in the ice box. Lots of healthy snack foods, and movies that can run continuously. We put the kids in a circle on the floor in their sleeping bags usually in the livingroom so they have easy access to the bathroom and the kitchen. When you invite them over find out food preferences, and allergies and have them bring their favorite movie. The can play card games, and board games. Order some pizzas, and be prepared for anything. Have fun. Ps you might want to get plenty of sleep before hand so you can keep a close eye on them, and rest lighty.

When my daughter had a sleepover,I tried to have ideas of things to do, like a craft, and found out the girls really wanted to be left alone. They had fun just playing with the toys and listening to music. I did put on a movie to calm things down at bedtime. You may want to have a few back ups, but don't be suprise if they keep themselves busy!

I have an 8 yr old girl and she loves to sing and help bake-so maybe karaoke or something like DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). If your girl likes to bake maybe make up some (sugar) cookie dough and let them cut out and bake then ice some cookies of their own.

Hi, K.. I had to respond. My daughter turned 8,Jan 17th. She had a slumber party at grandmas. It was a blast. We had a beauty pagent. Just dress up, and pics, they all brought swim suits because grandma has a hot tub. So after the swim suit debute they got to take a dip. They even did my makeup. It was hilarious! I admit, I had help, my older teen cousin and friend. Good luck!

Howdy K.!
Go to goodwill and buy several outlandish dresses. then go buy several throw away camaras. If you dont want them to play with your makeup then go buy some cheap stuff. Let them play dress up. Let them do it all themselves. My daughter did this at that age. It was so fun. My sis-law and I watched a movie in the living room, and every once in a while we would pause it for a beauty show. They had a blast!

Have Fun!

I had a sleepover in November for my daughter's 8th birthday. Honestly, I just let them play their little hearts out. They completely entertained themselves all night long. I didn't hound them to stay quiet or stop running, yoou know, all the stuff that we normally do with kids on the house, lol. We have a play area in the basement and they pretty much stayed down there. We had pizza for dinner and cake, then when it got to be about 11 pm I made them some popcorn and put in High School Musical and had them all set up their sleeping bags on the living room floor. It took them most of the movie to finally settle in, but they were all asleep by the end of the movie.
