What birthday gift to buy when you don't have any ideas and not sure what gift cards to get? I need to find my step father a gift and don't have a clue. He likes fishing and hunting but not sure what he has and doesn't have. We got him hunting stuff for Fathers day.
Cabella's is far for him and they don't go to the movies and their fav restaurant doesn't sell gift cards. that's why I'm stumped. Maybe a Fleet farm gift card. He gets those from everyone else and wanted to get something different but he could put them all together I guess. I just wanted to get something a little more special to open than the same thing he always gets.
How about the gift of time? :-) Maybe hand-made "coupons" for the whole family to spend a day fishing with him or something like that.
Gift card to a restaurant?
Gift certificate to Home Depot or Lowes. If he needs tools to work on his bikes, great. If he needs a new ladder, great. If he like to garden, great!
Restaurants are always good and so are movie tickets (if they like to go to movies)!
Gas Cards, Grocery store Gift Cards.
Some kind of sentimental father themed placque, picture frame, etc.
If you have kids, take them somewhere and let them pick something out.

I'm with other posters for the Gift card. That way he can purchase something he doesn't have and wants-
tell us more about your stepfather in order to spark some inspirataion.
Amazon? He'll have a lot to pick from. There's also a place called Cabela's, I think - not sure of the spelling. They sell fishing supplies and all that. You could check online and see if a gift card from there would work.
How about a Cabella's gift card so he can get what he wants/needs?
