I have your typical dry hair that has curl/wave in it. if i brush it when dry it is a frizzy mess. i usually comb it in the shower and that works best. my question is does anyone have a hair product and shampoo and conditioner they swear by that makes your hair soft and managable? keep in mind my hair is NOT your easy to comb straight hair...thanks for any input!

What can I do next?

I have dry frizzy wavy/curly hair too. For Shampoo & Condition I switch between Dove Intense Moisture and Tressme Moisture. After the shower I use Sebastian Potion #9. It is a leave in product, but let me tell you, my hair has never felt and looked better. It keeps hair from frizzing and keeps it looking healthy. I swear by this product. You can find it at beauty supply store.

Your hair sounds like my daughter's. Hers is fine, yet curly, and very dry. We have been using Frederic Fekkai's shine enhancing shampoo and conditioner and her hair is looking great! It has olive oil in it, which I think helps. We bought it at Sephora but I think Bath & Body Works carries it too. Also we have been using Aveda's leave-in product that is for curly hair, and that is helpful. It keeps the frizzies down but is not "crispy" at all. You put it on right out of the shower.

I'm so jealous of you... my own hair is fine and thin and stick-straight!! The grass is always greener on the other side, huh? =)

I have really naturally curly hair that loves to frizz! The only products I found that work are in the HEMPZ line. Their hydrating shampoo and condition are miracle workers. Their leave in detangler in conjuction with the the Curl Control cream really smooth our the frizzies and make your hair super soft and shiny. Their website is http://www.hempzhaircare.com/. You can buy all the products at places like Ulta.

Leave in condition works best for me. I have naturally curly/frizzy and it tames it and gives me more time between hair cuts.

I have heard that ingesting coconut oil, 3 t a day, will make your hairy beutifully shiny.
I beleive it, because my sister takes mineral oil everyday for her constipation due to her meds, and her hair shines like, the magazine commercials. Even my husband, who never notices anything, said something about her hair!

Don't take mineral oil though, it can be unsafe after a while. Do coconut oil.

I have naturally curly hair and it does run on the dry side if I don't take care of it. I use Umberto products (found at Target for $9 a bottle) . It has sunflower oil in it. You can't wash your hair every day. that is part of the problem. It dries it out. Also turn the temp down in your shower. try a spray in leave in conditioner.

I personally love Shikai's "Color Reflect" product line. I use the appropriate color for my hair for shampoo and the "Daily Conditioner." Then after I get out of the shower, I towel dry my hair a little and spray in Shikai's "Mist and Go" and comb it out. It doesn't leave my hair oily, heavy or sticky, but it is calm and manageable. Sometimes I use a smooth and shine cream type product to style it a bit as well, but I haven't found one in particular I could rave about.
