see if it's ok with your doctor, but my sister had this and took biotin..i forget what dose...but it was high like 1,000mg per day. she says it halped her.

as for me, i started to lose my hair after my daughter was born and i tried supplements and nothin worked for me. then all of a sudden when she turned 2, my hair came back and was thick as ever. i guess everyone's different...=)
good luck!

i think it is a hormone thing, make sure you take your prenatal vitamins, this will help. i didn't lose any hair during my pregnency but after i had my daugher my hair started coming out in clumps. it took a few months but is finally slowing down to normal.

I had the same thing happen to me! Don't worry, you won't go bald. Like everyone says, keep taking your vitamins. There isn't anything you can do about it unfortunately. It is all hormonal. For some reasons, our hormones decided to do the opposite to us. The only good side is that most women get thicker hair while they are pregnant and it all comes out afterward...so when you are beyond exhaustion from taking care of your newborn, you won't also have to worry about unclogging all the drains in your bathroom, too. Good luck!

I never experienced hair loss during any of my pregnancies---unfortunately I have it pre-menopausal!! Are you on a pre-natal vitamin? have you b6/b12 and vit D levels checked also. Ask a dermatologist about Tricomin Shampoo--it helps some people. I have read on this site that it is common for many women during pregnancy. Good luck!
