My husbands birthday is coming up and I wanted my 4 year olds to make him something special. Does anyone have any great ideas they would be willing to share with me? Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

along the same lines...there are those ceramic places where you (and the kids) can go and paint mugs or all kinds of different bisques. They fire it for you. Also, one year the kids and I picked out pictures of them and made a small scrapbook. I'm not the crafty sort so I did it thru picaboo.com, but the kids could do there own pages. I know there are some pretty cheap scrapbook kits out there. My daughter got one for Christmas.

maybe get some modeling clay and let them make your husband a pen holders or paper weights (well if he has a desk to put it on). then let your sons paint it. this lets them be creative and its something that will get used and your boys will feel proud of or let them decorate a happy birthday daddy sign. there are sooo many options that he can do. i know you will get a bunch of feed back on this good luck!

I thought the other responder had a great idea. you could also give them each a big piece of poster board and have them decorate those too.

Here is an idea, my kids wanted their dad to smile with glee on his day so they bought him a black t-shirt and had #1 dad sewn on the front and all of their names on the back. He still wears that shirt today and it was about 6 years ago. Last year they bought him another shirt and had their picture put on it.
