My husband is celebrating his first full year of owning his own business this weekend. I would love to get him a meaningful gift to congratulate him. He's doing a wonderful job! Any ideas? Would spend up to $100. Thanks!

Edit - to answer question below, he is the owner of a landscape service: does designs, irrigation, lighting systems, etc.

What can I do next?

The small businessmen I know take a lot of pride in thier company, it's logo, and brand. You could get him a nice custom jacket with the companys logo on the back and his name on the pocket.

You could get hats embroidered with compnay logo for him and all the employees.

Now that it's been a year, and he's seeing black now (hoepfully) he may be ready for an upgrade. You could get him nicer, fancier business cards and
an executive desk set? It might be nice to sruce up his office with a little nicer stuff.

What about a really nice desk chair for his office (if he has one) or a nice "desk set" with the name of the company embossed or engraved.

Congrats to him, and kudos to you for being a wonderful, thoughtful wifey! It may help to know what kind of business your hubby owns. Also, what are your hubby's interests? Mine would love:

A golf gift card, either to play or to buy a new bag, balls, etc.
Concert tickets
Baseball game tickets
Any gift can be accompanied by a thoughtful letter telling him how absolutely awesome he is!
What about a special dinner and a nice Victoria's Secret gift after =)
Getting his car detailed?
A weekend away with the boys (more than one hundred dollars I am sure!)

What does your hubby like/need?

My husband just started owning his business almost a year ago. On his "anniversary", I was going to get something he needed for his studio office. He still needs things like: a better sign, or better lighting, better desk, better waiting area (couch, table, area rug, artwork on the walls...etc.) don't know if this applies directly to your husband's business, but it is something that directly refers to the business.

hot stone massage!!! I'd make it a couples massage if you have a little extra $$ to put toward it :)

or if he is like my hubby a gift card to a golf simulation place (we live in MN, so no going outside for a long time!). Congrats to both of you... being a small business owner is TOUGH!!

Have a plaque made especially for him. Im sure if you look online you can find a store that will do this and you should be able to make it as personal as you want. Not sure what you want it to say or how it would look but this is something that he will be able to hang in his office and cherish forever and it will show him just how proud you are of him for his accomplishments

I agree with the ideas that included something with his company logo. If he is into golf you could even check into getting his golf towel's logo'd for him!
