Easter Basket for Husband

I would love to get a little basket of goodies together for my husband. He has been so helpful lately around the house and with the new baby (after many "discussions" regarding this!) and I would love to show my appreciation. Also, I think he feels a little jaded that he didn't get much for his January birthday since we had a new baby to tend to.

What kinds of things would a grown man appreciate in his easter basket?! He is not a big fan of candy =( (weird, I know!)

His likes: golf, baseball, music - the only thing I know I am putting in his basket so far is work socks!! lol!! Suggestions?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Um - so the water gun thing made me laugh. The other day, my husband "jokingly" said he is going to get a squirt gun and start squirting me in the face when I say something he doesn't like or appreciate. I was thinking - holy crap, is he reading my mamasource stuff?! Someone JUST posted about their MIL squirting their kid! Too funny.

Ok - GREAT suggestions so far!! Most of them would be things I want, like Starbucks and food! haha! I am going to do golf balls, a GC to a really cool cigar place, BEER FOR SURE! - not sure what else.....keep em coming! Nikki - you must know my husband!

Mine is getting a rowing machine. The Easter Bunny will be dropping it off at Wal Mart in 4-7 business days.

It's taken him over TWO WEEKS to decide if he wanted a rower or a bike. I had to make my usual "excutive decision" and just order the damn thing. Win-win for me. I love new exercise equipment!

Since you are already doing something like socks how about something fun. How about a water gun for him and the kids? We love water gun fights at our house. I always win because I just give up and get the hose.

How about golf balls, tees and/or some new golf gloves. If he has an Apple Ipod of some sort, how about an ITune gift card.

Other things he may/may not like

specialty coffee
a gift card to his favorite restaurant
a gift card to the movies

How cute!
Well since we are trying to save money right now, I would give him coupons.
Like:
"Massage coupon"
"Favorite dinner coupon"
"TV control for a whole week coupon"
"Love you even if you lose all your hair coupon"
"ONE, you are right baby coupon"....well, I may put a couple small letters in that coupon, lol.

A love note to your love bunny (hahahaaaaaaa---I called my husband that one time and he nearly turned green, which of course tickled me). itunes card, tickets to something he'd be interested in (a sports event, a "man movie", upcoming concert?) What is his snack or treat of choice? If he likes pretzels, or cookies, or something homebaked? Is he a big reader--you could get him a book. A sports jersey, a class with a golfer or someone he'd be excited about, or whatever items he'd like regarding his sports interests. Cologne (since you're playing make up for a foiled birthday), or even better: a card saying "Babysitter is available on ___: pick something you'd like to do on our date!"

How sweet!!!
I like the water gun idea someone mentioned below, men are just big boys anyway, right? :)
It is hard to get small stuff for our men...but if he likes golf he can always use golf balls. And CDs or an iTunes GC of course would be good. Oh, what about tickets to an upcoming concert? Great gift AND a date night!

Well depending on how much you want to spend...one or a couple of CD's of his kind of music, an itunes gift card, Royal's baseball tickets, a baseball hat, golf balls, tees, green fees paid for, favorite snacks since he is not big into candy.

How about gift certificate to sporting goods store, or local driving range so he can knock golf balls, or DVD of a classic movie, or CD of favorite artist. If he doesn't belong to a golf club, how about a "membership" or coupon to "rent" a golf cart for his next game.
