Has anyone tryed a product called Focus Formula? It is an herbal product to help ADHA. I have done research on it and heard that it works well from another mother. My question is, the directions say to use a drop for every year of the childs age, in a little water or juice. How much water or juice?1?! Im anxious to get my almost 8 y/o boy on it. Thanks for any help I can get on this product.

What can I do next?

Good morning Francesca,

I actually tried the Focus Formula tablets (I think it's the same thing you were talking about) when my son was younger. He's now 18 an a freshman in college. In all honesty, I'm not sure that I remember seeing much difference. But every child is different.
What I did notice and there is a lot of science behind it, was changing his food and educating him about the changes. Artificial colors/flavors and some preservatives common in so much packaged/processed foods have been shown to cause behavioral and learning issues! Google "miracle in wisconsin" for a great story about a reform school whose student's lives were completely changed just by changing their diets.
This is what I do, educate others about making healthier choices. Learn what the food additives can do and how to look for them and try to eliminate or at least decrease them.
Like I said, my son is now an 18 year old college freshman, but some of what I said must have sunk in because now that he's making better choices at school he said he feels better. And his grades are better this semester. *Now I realize some of the grade improvement, was the threat that if they didn't improved he would be home with me next fall, working to pay for his own education! :)

I won't be able to help you out on the formula. I've never heard of it... let me know later if it works!!

I will tell you about a program that does work. It's called The Total Transformation Program. Anyone who reads my advice on issues like this knows about it. I would encourage you to take a look-see and get as much info. you can. The site is www.thetotaltransformation.com

It definitely is worth it's weight in gold. Check it out!

I put it in about 1/8 a cup of water for my son. I actually drank it myself first to see what it tasted like and to see how it made me feel before giving it to my son. He takes it without any problems. There really isn't a taste. He has mild ADD and it works well.

ADHD is often times caused by underlying allergies and the advice the other person made is good. There is a doctor in Olathe who has a new non-invasive machine which eliminates allergies. They are having success with ADHD because of this his name is Dr.Rockers phone is ###-###-####
