yup, time is the best cure, but if you have some vitamin E oil that would probably help..

My boyfriend and I both shave down there frequently (I can't stand hair), and they do make a product called bikini zone that will stop the itching and bumps, but it BURNS like crazy when you put it on...SO this sounds crazy, but we use Secret platinum antipersperant/deoderant... any one with aluminum zirconium blah blah blah as the active ingredient will work- you just put it on right after you shave, and then every night and morning and there wont even be any discomfort... if he already has bumps and stuff it will take them away, takes a day or 2 though. And, i have asked a doctor about that and she said it is fine!!

If you put lotion in the area right after shaving it cuts down on the bumps and itchyness. Make sure if he does do it again to use a new razor not an old one which is sure to make it worse. Also he can rub the area down with witch Hazel(on a cotton ball) which can help but if he has nicked himself it will burn before it helps.
Shaving of that area is pretty normal. Just depends on what you choose to do and why you are doing it.
Oh and he might want to go without undies during the night to air the area out until it heals( don't go without during the day chafing of pants will make it worse) Hope this helps

Your right time is the only thing that will work, it doesn't last but a few days, for the worst part, and then it slowly starts to get better. It must be a boy thing cause I know of a few boys who have and do do the samething.

You need to explain that hair around the genatils is normal and not to be shaved. It is uncomfortable and will grow back but he will be uncomfortable until then. Believe me I did it when I was young and I will never do that again ever!
Shaving for a man is just the face. He needs someone to teach him.
