I am having a hard time pumping. My son is 5 months tomorrow and up until now I pump (with my manual pump) 3-4 times a week to give him a bottle. The last week I cannot pump to save my life! I have to pump 2-3 times to get enough for one bottle. I can't seem to get let down with the pump. Although, up until this point I haven't had a problem. I have been drinking mother's milk tea for the last few days, but it doesn't seem to be doing much. So I wanted to try Fenugreek. Is it just the capsoles, or where do I get it? I have never tried it before I am not really sure, but I want to make sure I get the right thing. Thanks ladies.

What can I do next?

You can get fenugreek at GNC or other health supplement store. Call and talk to a lactation consultant for dosing. You have to take A LOT to increase milk supply, but then can taper off after a few days. More nursing works best. Your son may be going through a growth spurt. Good luck!

You can get it at GNC or any vitamin store. Just be careful. It upset my son's tummy so you don't want to go overboard with it. Also not being able to pump might relate to your state of mind. Try eliminating distractions and thinking of your baby. an electric pump helps too LOL

You are supposed to use in conjunction with something but of course i can't remember what it is called. I went to an Adkin's natural food store and they had it, plus where able to tell me what else to use, but the Mother's Milk Tea worked really good for me. I hated smelling like maple syrup from the Fenugreek but it is worth a shot if the other isn't working. Good Luck I know how hard it is, have done it 3 times.

I use hot chocolate and it works for me to bring in milk. I'll pump and not get much, have a hot chocolate or two and my boobs are full - sounds crazy I know, but worth a shot. Be aware, chocolate can upset baby's system as can fenugreek.

Can you get an electric pump from somewhere?

The Fenugreek I had to take 3 capsules 3 times a day-- you know the dosage is right when you start to smell like a "wonderful" mix of maple syrup and gym socks.

Lactation Cookies help http://www.food.com/recipe/peanut-butter-lactation-cookie...

Oatmeal and oats helps too-- oatmeal, oatmeal cookies, granola bars, etc

Drink enough water and try to relax, there's a whole Zen to pumping....
