Hello Mamapedia,

I am looking to minimize all of our paperwork and I came accross a post on a blog (love my blogs) about evernote.com. I understand you can store pictures, recipes ect... I am not a fan of pinterest and was looking for something that i can store documents and the like. Can you share with me if you have had any experience with the web site and how does it work for you?

I've been using Evernote for almost 3 years and I LOVE it. Can't live without it, really! I have nearly 300 notes covering all aspects of my life...school stuff, recipes, to-do lists, gift ideas, travel ideas, etc. etc. etc. I use it on both my computer and my phone, it's great. I do not pay for the premium service - I don't even know what advantages that would provide as I've never had any complaints about the free version. I did try 2 or 3 other notetaking sites/apps and when I was first trying to find a way to organize my notes. Once I tried Evernote, I was hooked and never returned to the other sites. Would highly recommend you check it out, hope that helps.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Evernote. It's a fantastic way to organize and store all of my various lists, passwords, random things I need to remember, etc. I've never tried it for storing pictures, but yes for recipes, notes, etc. It's great... and free.

I LOVE it! I use it all the time to organize ideas I have for lesson plans, and also for personal stuff, too. It's incredibly easy to use. Love it!!

ETA: I would make a new note for each recipe, and then create Tags for different categories of recipes to organize them that way (desserts, casseroles, chicken dishes, etc.). I hope that helps!
