my apt complex does not allow satelite b/c they do not want the dishes up on the roofs. so i have limited myself to TWC only. well my one year promotion is up in march and I am not going to pay out the wazzuu for my digital cable. is there any other provider that I can look ito? Or does anyone know if TWC ever extends promotions?
i have been in twc for 5 years now and i have the same promotion since 5 years ago actually i got more channels and i pay less so i am pretty happy with them ,just check you bill if is the same they are keeping that promotion if not just call them and ask for currently promotion but i am sure they are gonna keep you as costumer
Here is what we do: every time our promotion is about to expire we call them, go through the hour long phone tree to cancel service and at the end of it, when you are finally talking to a real person, we tell them that we can't afford the new rate and want to cancel our cable... for the past years our promotion was extended EVERY time. Cable is ridiculously overpriced, they know it, you know it...just ask for a better rate and they will give you one, rather than loosing you as a customer.

you can ALWAYS negotiate your packages with your cable company. We do it ALL the time when their promotions are up.
They don't know that you can't have a satellite provider, so I'd highly recommend playing it off as if you're going to make a move or discontinue. Believe me, they want your business and should be willing to work with you to keep it.
I have TWC in New York and I have been on a promotion for several years. Just last month they extended the promotion price again but they waited until the very last minute. I would contact them in March if they do not automatically extend it and ask for another promotion...It never hurts to ask as these companies are looking to keep customers. Good Luck
They should have a retention program that would offer you a deal to keep the cable. You would have to call and see what deals they have, they change month to month and they may not have a deal for what services you want.
I would merely call TWC...they do not want to lose a customer...we call at the end of promotions and they might not give us THAT one-but they will offer another sometimes even better deal.....So, my answer is to call and ask-all they can say is NO.......Good luck!
